Meet Brittany & Erik. I've known these two lovebirds for over three years now, and trust me, they're the kind of people you just can't help but adore. Their love for each other and the incredible life they've built up in Alaska can warm even the coldest temperatures.
First, let's talk about Alaska for a minute. I mean, have you seen those breathtaking landscapes? It's like nature decided to show off its A-game up there. So when Helder and I (big snow fans from California!) flew over 2000 miles to capture Brittany and Erik’s love against the backdrop of a snowy sunrise, we just knew it was going to be beyond epic.
There’s a saying that goes “Love is the greatest warmth in the coldest winter.” Brittany and Erik proved that to be true. That morning, we set out early before the sun peeked over the mountains and the low-lying fog were still rolling through, Brittany and Erik wasted no time bundling up to ward off the biting cold. As the first light of dawn painted the sky in hues of pink and gold, we found ourselves amidst a scene straight out of a fairy tale. The snow-covered landscape stretched out before us, pristine and untouched, while the chill in the air lent an exhilarating edge to the atmosphere. But you know what? Brittany and Erik weren't fazed one bit by the freezing temps. They held onto each other like their lives depended on it, their love radiating warmth against the icy backdrop. With every snap of our camera, we managed to freeze those moments of tenderness and connection against the stunning backdrop of the wilderness.
