Some love stories are quiet and steady, built over years of shared experiences, inside jokes, and unwavering support. That’s Heather and Jaime. Their elopement at Taft Point was the perfect reflection of their relationship—adventurous, full of joy, and set against one of Yosemite’s most breathtaking backdrops.

The hike to Taft Point is a quick yet rewarding adventure, just about a mile each way through towering pines and open meadows. As we made our way along the trail, Heather and Jaime kept the energy light, cracking jokes, nudging each other, and making even the uphill sections fun. You’d never guess they’d been together for years—their playful banter and easy laughter felt like two people still in the honeymoon phase. It was the kind of energy that makes time fly, and before we knew it, we emerged from the trees to one of the most jaw-dropping views in Yosemite.

Standing at the edge of Taft Point, overlooking the vast expanse of Yosemite Valley, Heather and Jaime took it all in, hand in hand.
